We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities and older users. Our target is conformance with WCAG 2.2 level AA and EN 301 549.
1. Conformance status
The site is partially conformant. Accessibility was built in during development and is checked with our own tests; no independent audit has been carried out yet.
2. What we have done
- semantic heading and landmark structure and a “Skip to content” link
- full keyboard operation with a clearly visible focus
- text contrast at level AA
- respecting the operating system's “reduce motion” setting
- language markup (Croatian and English) for screen readers
- forms with labelled fields, status messages for screen readers, and working without JavaScript
- no auto-playing audio or video
3. Known limitations
We currently have no recorded limitations. If you hit a barrier, let us know — we treat it as a bug, not a feature request.
4. Legal framework
AI MAX is a micro-enterprise, so under Art. 4(2) of the Croatian Act on Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services (OG 89/25) that act does not apply to us, and the Croatian Act on the Accessibility of Websites (OG 17/19) covers public-sector bodies. We publish this statement voluntarily. Solutions we deliver to the public sector are built to that act's requirements.
